Compositing.

While shooting my Self Portrait assignment, I ended up taking some extra photographs for myself and played a little with them in Lightroom. I love the feel this photo exerts.

 Our first client assignment was Herbs and Spices.

Light Painting?

Using glow sticks and some good ol' fashioned bubbles, makes a good time anytime!

Americana.

Rain.

While shootin the Alphabet assignment, I came across this stem that still had previous rain drops from a earlier storm, I couldn't pass it up.

LIFE as I know it.

Bokeh.

We had a Bokeh assignment for Jay,our Small Format instructor, and this was one of the shots I took but didnt submit. Looking back, I probably should have.

Product Lighting

We had to take a can and shoot it outside. I made a cyc-wall with the white side of the mat board, simple but presents Pepsi well. :)

Personal Choice.

 

I went to the antique mall in downtown Asheboro and noticed a few type writers hiding in a corner and got behind one for this shot.

 Long Exposure.

Complimentary.

Project for Chuck. Using the color wheel, we had to find complimentary colors. I set this up outside my friends house. I saw the pine trees and had to use them. The time of day was hard to pass up for that lighting.

Rule of Thirds

Project for John Rash, had to do Rule of Thirds. I had my bestie, Anna Tucker help in the production, and of course, sweet cupcakes!
